Many oils seem like a healthy choice because they are derived from nutritient-rich products, but not all oils that come from healthy products are necessarily healthy. An example of this would be coconut oil, as it is actually filled with lots of saturated fats and therefore should be used in moderation.
It is important to know what kind of oil to use for which recipes, and which oils to avoid. Keep in mind that some not-so-healthy oils can be acceptable in small amounts, in this blog we will be going over the healthiest types of oils to use.
Look for oils that contain little to no saturated fats, read more about healthy fats in our blog  Healthy Fats - Polyunsaturated & Monounsaturated Fats

Olive oil

The best cooking oil you can choose is extra virgin olive oil, it contains monounsaturated fats and many healthy nutrients. It has antioxidant properties and fights inflammation, and cancerous cells. It is extremely beneficial for heart health and cognitive health, helping prevent Alzheimer's and heart disease.

Flaxseed oil

Flaxseed oil (also known as linseed oil) is another very healthy oil that can be used for all kinds of different recipes, however, it does have a nutty taste, so it is good to use for recipes that would complement it. it contains no saturated fats, instead, it is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, meaning it is a very heart-healthy supplement.
