Cardamom or Elettaria cardamomum is a plant made from the seeds of Elettaria. This plant is a part of the ginger family, originating from India. This herb has been compared in taste to mint, both sharing the same amount of sweetness. Cardamom is known to be helpful for many different health problems.

Cardamom is very rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory enzymes. These are important to fight chronic inflammation, which can be very dangerous. Cardamom is known to fight inflammation in the liver. It's also a great supplement to fight infection, including fungal infections, as it has high antibacterial contents.

The most popular use of cardamom is in helping lower blood pressure. Cardamom carries enzymes that naturally lower blood pressure. It is also known to lower blood sugar. These enzymes are also instrumental in killing cancerous cells, as well as preventing their development altogether.
