Given its delicious flavor and distinctive texture, as well as its high nutritional content, brown basmati rice is a great way to include whole-grain nutrition into the diet. Brown basmati rice packs the goodness of the bran layer yielding more nutrients, natural fiber, and a low to medium GI. Nutritionally, basmati rice has the highest content of amino acids and essential nutrients among all varieties of rice. There is also an absence of any fat, cholesterol, sodium, or gluten making it a healthy dietary choice.
