These seeds are packed with zinc, magnesium, manganese, and calcium, which are all important minerals that promote healthy bones and a strong immune system.
The Aztec warriors used chia seeds for all kinds of things. It would be used for many different ailments and in many different forms. They would use it as flour, oil, medicine, and food.
