Toasted Chickpeas Snack Yum

Chickpeas are like a blank canvas, and you can season this toasted treat with whatever spices or spice blends you like best! They make a wonderful snack, very satisfying. Chickpeas are also nutritious and a great source of protein, iron, and fiber.

INGREDIENTS (makes 8-10 servings):

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Preheat oven to 450°.
    2. Toss chickpeas in oil and spice(s).
    3. Spread evenly on cookie sheet with non-stick silicone mat or tin foil.
    4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown and crunchy. Enjoy!

      Are the 12 oz chickpeas used in this recipe the dried chickpeas that the link goes to? If so, do the dried chickpeas need to be soaked and cooked before roasting?
