Lion's Mane Chai Tea Yum

This Chai Latte is spice-filled and cheerful, and wonderfully warming on a cold, rainy day, that once you make it, you won't want to drink any other kind of chai! Lion's Mane benefits the brain and it is also an antibiotic!

BSF Kitchen Test: 04/13/18

INGREDIENTS (makes 1 serving):
Mix
  • 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp. ground cardamom
  • 1 tbsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp. lion's mane powder

Tea

  • 1/4 tsp. chai spice mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1-2 black tea bag(s)
  • 2 tsp. sucanat

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Put tea bag(s), sucanat and spices into a saucepan. Add milk and stir to dissolve sucanat. Place saucepan over medium-high heat, and stir milk as it heats.
    2. When it begins to foam, remove from heat. Let the tea steep for one minute. Place a strainer over the mug and pour chai into the mug. Enjoy!
