Chocolate & Quinoa Crunch Bar Yum

June 17, 2022 1 min read

If you have a sweet tooth, you will love these homemade chocolate bars! Three delicious ingredients, quinoa, chia seeds, and dark chocolate.

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add quinoa to a pan on medium heat. Toast lightly until golden brown, you will hear it start to pop. Stir frequently to avoid quinoa sticking to pan.
  2. Fill a pot with water about halfway. Put glass bowl with the chocolate chips in the middle of the pot (the bowl should be tall enough for the water to not spill into it). Set the heat to medium low, stirring the chocolate as it melts.
  3. Remove bowl from pot and add toasted quinoa and 1 tbsp chia seeds. Mix well.
  4. Line a baking pan with baking paper. Pour mixture into pan, using a spoon to spread it evenly. Sprinkle with remaining chia seeds. Place in the fridge for 2-3 hours or freeze for 1 hour. Cut into bars and enjoy!
