Sunflower Butter-Flax Cookies Yum

These yummy sunflower butter-flax cookies are a delicious treat and seriously addictive! The flaxseed gives them an extra bit of fiber and also enhances the nutty flavor. A simple but delicious cookie recipe!
BSF Kitchen Test: 03/02/18 
INGREDIENTS(Makes 18 cookies)
  • 3/4 cup sunflower butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1/4 cup freshly ground flaxseed

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Preheat oven to 350°. Cover 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
    2. Mix peanut butter, egg, sugar, and vanilla extract. Slowly stir in the milk, until smooth.
    3. Add flaxseed, and stir to combine. 
    4. Place tablespoon-sized dollops of dough on pans, and flatten (cookies won't rise in the oven). If desired, make crisscross patterns on the top with a fork.
    5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, and allow to cool before serving. Serve fresh, or keep in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Enjoy!
