Dark Chocolate Chickpea Brownies Yum

These brownies are the perfect healthy treat. Healthy, nutrient-rich ingredients in a delicious baked dessert. 


  • 1 ½ cups cooked chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseeds
  • 2 tbsp coconut flour
  • ½ cup oat milk
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 2/3 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • pinch of baking soda


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a medium-sized bowl, mix coconut flour, ground flaxseeds, baking powder, and baking soda.
  2. In a blender or food processor, add chickpeas, maple syrup, peanut butter, flax, and oat milk and blend until relatively smooth. In a small bowl, melt the dark chocolate.
  3. Mix dry and wet ingredients together, then add chocolate and mix well.
  4. Grease a square baking pan and pour in the batter. Place pan in the oven and bake for 35-45 minutes. Enjoy!
