Turmeric Chai Latte Yum

This Chai Latte is spice-filled and cheerful, and wonderfully warming on a cold, rainy day, that once you make it, you won't want to drink any other kind of chai! Turmeric is a great natural anti-inflammatory, and it can be very helpful to those with arthritis.

BSF Kitchen Test: 01/10/18

INGREDIENTS (makes 2 servings):
Mix
  • 3 Tbsp. ground turmeric
  • 4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1 tsp. ground cardamom
  • 2 tsp. ground ginger

Tea

  • 2 tsp. turmeric spice mix
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1-3 tsp. sucanat
  • 1/4-1/2 cup milk

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Pour boiling water over spice mix in a heatproof glass container, and let steep for up to ten minutes.
    2. Strain into mugs, and add sucanat and milk (froth if desired). Enjoy!
