Turmeric-Ginger Sauce - Simple and Delicious
This sauce is so simple, delicious and it has a slight kick. It's perfect for spicing up rice, chicken or really anything! Turmeric can help with inflammation, and it also serves as a powerful antioxidant.

Ingredients (makes 12 Tbsp):
  • 1 Tbsp. coconut oil
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 tsp. turmeric
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp. chopped fresh ginger
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 /4 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
  • Dash of ground red pepper

 

    Cooking Instructions:
    • Heat coconut oil over high heat until melted. Add onion, carrot, turmeric, garlic, and ginger. Cook for 30 seconds, add water and reduce heat.
    • Simmer for 7 minutes, and place in blender with yogurt, apple cider vinegar, salt, cumin, and red pepper. Blend until smooth, and serve warm. Enjoy!
