Patriotic Parfait Yum

Fresh, fruity and flavorful, this recipe is a perfectly patriotic start for a fun-filled, fireworks filled 4th of July. The sunflower seeds can be toasted ahead of time, so this really is the perfect kick-start breakfast for a busy day.

BSF Kitchen Test: 06/27/17
INGREDIENTS (makes 1 serving):
  • 1 tbsp. toasted sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup chopped bananas
  • 1/4 cup chopped strawberries
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 3/4 cup vanilla yogurt

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Mix the fruit together in a small bowl.
    2. Put 1/4 cup fruit mixture in a parfait glass, then add 1/4 cup yogurt. Sprinkle a few sunflower seeds and repeat until all of the fruit and yogurt is finished. 
    3. Garnish with a bit more sunflower seeds.
