Sunflower Butter - Vegan Yum

This scrumptious sunflower butter is delicious spread on a piece of toast, served with celery, or even eaten plain! It is full of protein, minerals, vitamin E, and it's a great energy booster! 

BSF Kitchen Test: 03/01/18

INGREDIENTS (Makes 16 ounces):

  • 1 1/2 cup toasted sunflower seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. coconut sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Blend toasted sunflower seeds in a food processor until it reaches a creamy consistency, about 10-12 minutes. 
  2. Once the butter is smooth, add the coconut sugar and salt, to taste and process for a couple more minutes.
  3. Store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to a month. Enjoy!
