Toasted Sunflower Seeds Yum

Crunchy, aromatic, and flavorful, these sunflower seeds make the perfect snack. They are filling and full of protein, minerals and Vitamin E. Sprinkled on a salad they add a wonderful flavor boost and on yogurt, they add a great crunch.

INGREDIENTS: (makes 1/2 cup):

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    • Place sunflower seeds in a dry skillet.
    • Heat over medium heat for 1 minute, then stir.
    • Stir every 30-45 seconds until the sunflower seeds reach desired golden brown color. Enjoy!
