Cilantro Rice & Black Beans Yum

A super simple black bean dish! Zesty lime cilantro rice combined with our delicious Black Turtle Beans.

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Rinse rice by pouring into a mesh strainer on top of a bowl, run water over rice while stirring with hands for about 10 seconds, then dump out water. repeat this 2-3 times until water comes out clear.
  2. Transfer rice to pot, add 2 cups water and salt.
  3. Bring to boil, turn heat down to a simmer, let cook for 20 minutes with lid on.
  4. Take off heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
  5. Add lime juice, zest, and cilantro to rice and stir.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine rice and beans.
  7. Serve with guacamole and tortilla chips. Enjoy!
